Dhaartshini Senguttuvan brings a valuable combination of expertise in public policy research and government relations, with expertise in fostering bilateral partnerships and managing impactful projects. Currently, she holds the position of Advocacy & Public Affairs Manager at MAREA since January 2025.   

As the Economic and Sustainability Adviser to the Embassy of Switzerland in Malaysia, she led programs to align bilateral sustainability goals, engaging with global and regional experts from Sustainable Finance Institute Asia, CircuBAT, European Forest Institute and SDEA to facilitate knowledge exchange and sustainable policy development with the public sector in Malaysia. Her role also covered examining levels of compliance with international regulations and local policies amongst multinational corporations. 

During her time working for the Member of Parliament for Subang, established strong relations with key government agencies and ministries during her tenure, conducting multi-level stakeholder engagements informing policy developments in the areas of flood mitigation, political financing and hate speech amongst others.  

Dhaartshini holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London. Her dedication to sustainability, community development, and stakeholder engagement underscores her commitment to driving progress in Malaysia’s political and economic landscape.
