MAREA had a smooth and successful 1st AGM on Friday, 17th June 2022.

Re-elected once again for a second term, our Board remains strong with Chairman from Nestlé Malaysia, Mr. Juan Aranols and Directors from Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Dutch Lady, Etika, F&N, Mondelez International, Spritzer, Tetra Pak and Unilever. 

Through MAREA, we look forward in continuing our mission in collaborating with the Malaysian Government and other stakeholders to jointly improve collection and recycling rates in the country for a greener, cleaner Malaysia and a more sustainable, waste-reduced future. 

We have made good progress and with the foundations in place we should be set for a steady acceleration in 2022 and beyond.
