Wanazlina Merican was appointed to the board of MAREA in March 2021.  She is also the Legal Director of Colgate-Palmolive in its South ASEAN Hub covering jurisdictions in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei since 2012.  

Ms. Merican began her career as a practicing advocate and solicitor at the Malaysian Bar in 1998. In 2004, she embarked on the role of legal counsel in the oil and gas industry and IT industry,  before joining Colgate-Palmolive.
