Yamini serves as Financial Controller at MAREA since October 2024.

Yamini brings over two decades of experience as a finance professional with deep expertise in governance, risk, and compliance acquired through her roles at three of the Big 4 accounting firms in three different countries. In addition to her experience in audit and financial services, Yamini has held key positions at a stock exchange, international banks and an international development agency, enriching her with a diverse and comprehensive perspective.

She is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), and the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA). Yamini earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universiti Putra Malaysia, followed by a Master of Science in Corporate Governance from London South Bank University. She also holds a Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance credential from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management – UNEP Collaborating Centre.
