Daniel, a Food Technology graduate from a local university, diverted his interest into plastic industry from 2003. Started his first career with Inabata – a Japanese Plastic Trading firm & gain experience in the Engineering Plastic in his first plastic industry approach. His last job handing virgin plastic resin end in 2012 with Samsung Chemical Industry & ventured into Plastic Recycling Industry dealing with plastic scrap from overseas.

He joined a company name Vanden Global in 2013, an Australian own company that base in Hong Kong, handling plastic scrap from UK, Australia & Norwegian. His career end in 2018 with Vanden Global when China stops importing plastic scarp & started his own company dealing with new partners from UK, Holland, Germany & Austria. During his self-employment from 2018, he also took an active role in the newly re-formed association which was dormant since 2014 – MPRA (Malaysia Plastics Recyclers Association) as a part-time secretariat running the office administration. During that period of time, he have had many meetings with Government, NGO and industry player.

In May 2021, Daniel was appointed as Technical Manager at MAREA (Malaysian Recycling Alliance Berhad); the first EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) in Malaysia to lead Consumer Packaging Waste Recycling in Malaysia.
