With over a decade of expertise in the plastic and rubber manufacturing industry, Ts. Ahmad Zhafri Samsudin is a polymer technology specialist focused on advancing sustainability and innovation. His extensive work revolves around the development of recycled plastic and rubber products, reclaimed rubber, and tailored solutions, contributing to OEM production improvements, hybrid thermoplastic elastomers, and bespoke rubber, TPE, and PU adhesives.

Throughout his career, he has tackled complex technical challenges in polyurethanes, binders, and EPDM rubber granules, ensuring optimal synthetic surfacing system installations. His technical proficiency and leadership have established him as a recognized Professional Technologist (MBOT).

His contributions extend beyond industry applications, as he was appointed as Chairman of MBOT’s Technical Technology Working Group (TTWG) for Material Science & Technology (MT), playing a vital role in developing Professional Services Standards for Technologists and Technicians. Additionally, his appointment as Council of Expert (COE) in GITC positions him at the forefront of Malaysia’s TVET development, driving industry-led initiatives.

As part of his commitment to academia, his work has been published in the Malaysia Journal of Analytical Sciences (MJAS), reflecting his passion for industry-academic collaboration.
