DESCRIPTION:On Thursday, 15th September, MAREA was invited to be on the panel for the Malaysia – Australia Dialogue Series discussing the topic of Combating Marine Plastic Pollution 2022.\nThe dialogue session covered Extended Producer Responsibility and Industry Agreement by panels speakers : MAREA (represented by Pauline, General Manager ) & APCO highlighting EPR in Malaysia and Australia, MPRA on Plastic Waste and Recycling in Malaysia and Harbak sharing on Resource Recovery in Australia.\nThe fruitful session was moderated by Dr Craig Miller from the University of Queensland – an expert in sustainability and waste management. \nWe believe such regional dialogues are important for us to learn from each other and collectively, we can promote EPR together for the betterment of our environment including our oceans!\n \n
