DESCRIPTION:The Malaysian Petrochemicals Association (MPA) organised its first international conference on petrochemical sustainability focusing on the challenges and how key industry stakeholders can navigate the transition towards net-zero carbon emissions.\nMAREA (Pauline) had an amazing sharing session on Circular Economy Practices (Session Two) during the Petrochemical Sustainability Conference 2022 at KLCC on Tuesday, 13th September 2022.\n\nThe Moderator, Wei Chee (ERM) set the context on Circular Economy (CE). All the distinguished panel speakers from WWF (Tahirah), KASA (Eddy) and Petronas (Ezrin) shared their perspective and why Circular Economy (CE) matters; about policies, regulations and / or incentives to support CE; and their CE initiatives. MAREA had the opportunity to share about the voluntary EPR that MAREA is rolling out for the FMCG sector.\n\nWe believe that our collective collaboration and actions on CE will improve the environment in Malaysia.\n\n
