DESCRIPTION:\n\nBACKGROUND\n\n\n\n\n6 December 2021 / 09:00-14:00 (GMT+8)\nMAREA is really grateful to be invited to join the Stakeholders Workshop on Waste Wise Cities Tools in Seremban on 6 Dec 2021. The workshop is organised by UN Habitat with project partners from UNEP, COBSEA, SEA Circular, Sweden Sveridge. Seremban has been the chosen city in Malaysia to use the Waste Wise Cities Tools to measure the recycling rate in the city. It’s really heartening to know that the waste collection rate in Seremban is 100% but unfortunately, the recovery rate is only 11%.
